On 17 December the Agreement between the Chief Commander of Border Guards, the Chief Commander of Police of the Czech Republic on joint patrols was signed.

On 11 December 2007 a delegation from the Ministry of Interior from Ukraine was received at the Ministry of Interior and Administration within the framework of the cooperation in ensuring security at the UEFA EURO 2012 championships. The meeting was headed by the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration Adam Rapacki. The visit was organised by the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

The meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Administration with the Voivodes was focused on issues related to Poland's joining the Schengen Area, action plans for the Ministry in the decentralisation of the state, renewal of the ethos of the civil sevice.

As of 10 November 2007 the authorities of Libya introduced a requirement of so-called “Arabisation” of passports of the citizens from non-Arab countries, who intend to cross the Libyan border.

Mr. Adam Rapacki, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration, participated in a conference of the Polish Platform for Homeland Security entitled: „Monitoring, identification, and countering threats to the security of European Union citizens” (4 – 7 December 2007 Palace of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Będlewo near Poznań).
