29.12.2009The Prime Minister thanked policemen for the recovery of the “Arbeit macht frei” sign
The Prime Minister Donald Tusk met with the policemen who had recovered the “Arbeit macht frei” sign, which had been stolen from its place above the entrance gate to the former camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau”. The Head of Government emphasized that the theft had damaged the reputation of Poland. – The fact that you have demonstrated such extraordinary professionalism, such determination has rescued, to some extent, the reputation of the entire country in this matter - added Donald Tusk.

The Ministry of the Interior and Administration organized an open conference devoted to interoperability issues in Poland, which served as an introduction to the debate on the method of implementation in our country of the rules arising from the European Interoperability Framework 2.0 and European Interoperability Strategy.

The participants were Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration - Adam Rapacki and Deputy Head of Mission in USA Embassy in Warsaw – William Heidt.
