23.05.2013Head of the Polish MI on the priorities and key strategies of the Ministry
Public security, combating organized crime, reform of the National Police Headquarters and its separation from the Central Bureau of Investigation, counteracting violence against the most vulnerable are the main priority areas set out for the Polish Ministry of the Interior which were announced on 10th May 2013 by the Minister of the Interior Mr Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, at a conference held at the MI.
23.05.2013The Salzburg Forum in Warsaw
Internal security in Europe, external borders of the European Union and illegal arms trafficking were the topics touched upon by the Ministers of the Interior of the Forum Salzburg states. A two-day conference was held on 23rd and 24th April in Warsaw. The meeting was attended by Head of the MI Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz.
23.05.2013Joint Istanbul Declaration
On 19th April 2013, at the 5th Budapest Process Ministerial Conference, Deputy Minister Piotr Stachańczyk signed “Joint Istanbul Declaration.” The document is a direct reference to the current international debate on migration with the signatories of the Declaration undertaking to engage in dialogue and cooperation on migration management in the region of the Silk Routes.
