Press release

With reference to the misinterpretations of the Council’s of Ministers Regulation on the minimal requirements for teleinformational systems (O.J. No 212 item 1766 of October 28th 2005) concerning the acceptable text files and text and graphic files formats, the Ministry of the Interior and Administration informs that the above Regulation specifies exclusively the minimal requirements.

That means that the entities subject to the provisions of the Law of February 17th 2005 on introducing the IT technologies to the entities realizing the public tasks, are obliged to apply the data formats specified in the Regulation. It does not, however, restrict in any way the possibility to apply other kinds of text files and text and graphic files formats. The above Regulation points also at several equivalent formats and neither imposes nor favours in any way one of them.
