Announcement

In relation to press publications containing information on planned elimination of certain Poviats by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration I would like to inform, that this information is gossip having nothing to do with reality in this respect.

The Ministry of the Interior and Administration does not conduct any activities which aim at taking decisions concerning the shape and number of Poviats without knowledge of the citizens and self- government’s authorities. Possible correction of borders, unification of Poviats etc. may only result from a will of the citizens and self- government’s authorities elected by them.
